thinking about our planet...

I would like to see this movie...if you have a chance to see it please do!

The Age of Stupid is a 90-minute film about climate change, set in the future, which will have its world premiere in London on March 15th 2009 and then be released in UK cinemas on March 20th 2009, followed by other countries.

SYNOPSIS

Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite (In The Name of the Father, Brassed Off) stars as a man living alone in the devasted world of 2055, looking back at “archive” footage from 2007 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

Set in Sydney?

I'm not sure where it is set...it seems that there is footage from around the world and the main scenes are taken indoors.

Nope, we did not have Earth Hour in any major cities in Japan (that I know of). I'm sure there were some people who knew about it and turned off their lights...we did at our home and I even suppressed my urge to blog! I can be so weak sometimes...

I couldn't find anything in Japanese about Earth Hour on the net and there was nothing about it that I saw on the news etc! I did read that some of the international companies like Coca Cola turned off their lights here...but that was about it. I'm pretty surprised!

My husband says maybe next year I can help make it a bigger "thing" in Japan...!?
