Since I needed to get out of the house after being cooped up a lot, I went to Motomachi, Kobe.
The suppressed shopaholic in me went a bit bonkers at my favorite bookstore. You can seen what I bought here.
The following picture is a stack of papers I bought at a Fair Trade store at the very end of the Motomachi mall.
Made in Bangladesh and very beautiful. The textures are rather unique too.
Then I went to a lovely store that sold all things Japanese.
Kimonoesque patterns for hair bands and clips.
I wish I could have taken pictures but the books were pretty heavy....lol

Delwyn, I can't remember what the name of the tree is...the thingies hanging from the tree are the seeds. They are a spiral so that they can fall far from the tree...they sort of spiral away on the wind~!

I don't think what I have right now is allergies. I experienced allergies round March/April this year- constant runny nose, itchy eyes. What I keep getting is like a upper-respitory problem, so the doctor thinks I'm allergic to Japanese buildings, my environment. I'm going to get an allergy test done just in case.
Alexandra, I because I thought it would work well with scrapbooking. I think I might make a few birthday cards too!
Poppy, thank you for visiting! Don't you think it is weird that we get allergies here? I didn't have that problem in the US and haven't had it when I went back to visit the last time either...?!
